Arithmetic/Geometric Progression Calculator

Arithmetic Progression (AP): An arithmetic progression is a sequence of numbers where the difference between consecutive terms is constant. This constant difference is known as the common difference (d). The nth term of an arithmetic progression can be calculated using the formula: an = a1 + (n-1)d, where a1 is the first term and n is the position of the term.
Geometric Progression (GP): A geometric progression is a sequence of numbers where each term is obtained by multiplying the previous term by a constant ratio (r). The ratio between consecutive terms is constant. The nth term of a geometric progression can be calculated using the formula: an = a1 * r^(n-1), where a1 is the first term and n is the position of the term.
